Introductory EA Program
The best way to get involved is to take part in the free Introductory EA program, where you will learn how to use your studies and career to have a positive impact on the world. The program runs over seven weeks and involves discussion groups about selected topics and personalized mentoring to help you apply these principles to your life and career. Estimated time is three hours per week.

Triin is one of the co-directors of EA Estonia and is responsible for implementing both short and long-term strategic goals. Her primary aim is for the EA Estonia community to thrive while being sustainable. Triin is also the main organiser of events in Tallinn and facilitates introductory and AI safety courses. Outside of EA Estonia, she is a biostatistician and statistical programmer working on clinical trials.

Kadi is one of the co-directors of EA Estonia. She started in this role in the autumn of 2024, but was a board member and the HR team coordinator before. She also has a lot of experience in farm animal welfare as a project leader, telefundraiser and operation manager. In addition, she is finishing a master’s degree in biology.

Laura is responsible for the
effective altruism introductory course, which helps curious people discover the basics of effective altruism and how we can impact the world in the best possible way. She is most interested in how to make better decisions, animal welfare and environmental issues. In her free time she likes to hike, snorkel, mix music, read and take part in pub quizzes.

Sille-Liis coordinates the effective giving platform Anneta Targalt (Donate Wisely) which was launched by her and Andri Soone in 2021. She is a Junior Research Fellow and PhD student of psychology in the University of Tartu where she researches the influence mechanisms of health behavior and prosocial behavior. In her spare time, Sille-Liis enjoys running, hiking and watching biathlon competitions.

Tarmo helps new members settle in and makes sure that everyone in the community feels at home and can learn/contribute in line with their interests. He has a technical background, having studied computer science and specifically artificial intelligence. In his spare time, Tarmo enjoys climbing, hiking and reading science fiction.
